The Sickness
Anora recovered from the Croup and an ear infection like a champ. She spent 4 days coughing and woke up one morning with a 101.7 degree fever. At 8am and 103 degrees, I thought it would be best to go to the doctor immediately.
The Doctor was impressed with Anora saying how observant she is at such a young age. She was sweet with Anora and prescribed her with an anti-biotic.
Like the good parents we are, instead of going straight home, we stopped at CVS followed by the diner (hey, she fell asleep). Later, Anora took her meds and promptly threw them all up on her nice white carpet tiles. We then quickly learned the trick where you hide the stuff in food.
A week later and her appetite is better, she’s coughing less and she’s back to smiling… pretty much always.
